The Call for Abstracts is open until 5 February 2014

Contributions to the IMBER OSC 2014 are welcome from all marine and oceanographic communities.

Abstract information

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are solicited from all areas of marine and coastal research, including observational, modelling and conceptual studies, from the physical and natural sciences to social sciences and humanities. Abstracts should summarize the contents of the presentation and should represent new research contributions, practices and experiences, novel applications as well as new results, or work in progress. The presentation should be at the forefront of marine scientific research and should preferably be of an inter-disciplinary or cross-disciplinary nature.  The conveners of the sessions and workshops and the Scientific Organising Committee reserve the right to assign the reviewed abstract to either oral or poster presentation.

Notification of presentation

The selection of oral and poster presentations will commence after the abstract submission deadline (5 February 2014), and you will be informed of the outcome by the end of February. Please note that formal acceptance depends on registration fee payment by the presenter. The number of presentations per person may be limited depending on the overall subscription to the conference.

Abstracts must be uploaded here for a particular session or workshop.

The abstract should be written in English. Please include the following information:

  • Authors and their affiliations
