Ocean Acidification research in China: an international workshop

28-29 April 2016

The aim of the workshop is to deliver an overview of ocean acidification research in China and to develop a strategic plan towards long-term, integrated ocean acidification research. Contributions are welcome on all aspects of ocean acidification research including observations, experimentation, infrastructures, modeling, socio-economy, marine management and law.

Keynote speakers will include:

  • Dr. Jan Newton
  • Prof. Kunshan Gao
  • Prof. Liqi Chen

Workshop Themes:

  •  Changing carbonate chemistry from observations and models
  •  Biological response to ocean acidification
  •  Marine management and blue-green economies
  •  Towards a national ocean acidification strategy
