DEVelopment Of innovative Tools for understanding marine biodiversity and assessing good Environmental Status
The DEVOTES Project (2012-2016) aims to improve understanding of human activities impacts (cumulative, synergistic, antagonistic) and variations due to climate change on marine biodiversity, using long-term series (pelagic and benthic).
DEVOTES aims to test the indicators proposed by the EC and develop new ones to assess at the status of marine waters at the species, habitat and ecosystem level. Read more…
The Conference is open to anyone interested in the following topics: Marine Strategy Framework Directive, marine monitoring, management measures, marine biodiversity assessment, cost-effectiveness, marine ecosystem services, implementation.
Representatives from Regional Sea Conventions, stakeholders and scientists involved in other EU-funded projects are especially welcomed. Register online.
