Traning course on Marine Radiochemistry 8-10 June 2016, Xiamen University, Xiamen, China

The purpose of the Training Course is to train graduate students and professionals who are interested in or will pursue radiochemistry research and management. The course will include in class lectures and hands-on experiments in the laboratory equipped with a variety of measurement tools. Subjects to be covered include natural, anthropogenic, and cosmogenic radioisotopes in marine environments; radioanalytical methods; and tracer and dating techniques.

How to apply?

Participants: The course is open to 30 students and early career scientists interested in radiochemistry-related fields. Please complete the included application form and submit online.

Fees: Registration fee is 2500 CNY (covers meals, local accommodation and transportation).

Financial Support: The workshop has a limited amount of funds from SCOR and will support a limited number of eligible participants from developing countries as defined by SCOR. For those who want to apply, please complete the funding application information.
