The IMBeR Synthesis and Future Planning Conference (Future Oceans 3, FO3) offers exclusive sponsorship and exhibition opportunities designed to maximize brand exposure and engagement with leading researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders in marine science and sustainability. Future Oceans 3 will bring together IMBeR’s diverse science teams—including Regional Programs, Working Groups, Endorsed Projects, Study Groups, national committees, and the Interdisciplinary Marine Early Career Network (IMECaN) – as well as representatives from international organizations, policymakers, and early career researchers. Participants are encouraged to present their achievements, propose new projects, and organize specialized sessions tailored to their needs. The conference is expected to host approximately 200 delegates.

Future Oceans 3 will feature 12 sessions covering a wide range of topics, including coastal blue carbon, island biodiversity, ecosystem-social interactions, optical remote sensing in the Northwest Pacific and the Central Indo-Pacific Oceans, tropical marine ecosystems, eutrophication, ocean governance, and international marine projects.

Additionally, the conference will include a dedicated IMBeR Doctoral Forum and an IMECaN Event, providing a platform for PhD students and early career researchers to showcase their work and engage with senior scientists in the field of marine science.
