I am a junior majoring in Translation at East China Normal University, where I serve as the class monitor and actively engage in both academic and extracurricular activities. Through these roles, I have developed strong organizational and leadership skills, which have been integral to my success in various projects. Notably, I achieved a gold medal in the Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, an experience that strengthened my ability to think creatively and work collaboratively under pressure.

As an intern at IMBeR, I am excited to further develop my organizational and administrative skills while contributing to meaningful scientific research on a global scale. I look forward to learning from experienced professionals, gaining deeper insights into international research collaboration, and expanding my understanding of marine biosphere research.

I am 25 years old and I come from Shanghai Province. After graduating from Tongji University and got my bachelor degree in Geology, I start my study and research in SKLEC as a PhD candidate in Marine Chemistry. My study area mainly focuses on wetland carbon burial and conservation, and I also do some environmental radioactivity researches as well.

I took part in some students group when I was an undergraduate student, mainly working in public relations department, which requires a lot of communication with students and strangers outside the campus like event sponsors. And I actively participate in social services, offering volunteer work in different kinds of activities. I’m willing to help anyone in need, so I offered online tutoring for students in poverty-stricken places and I gave science popularization lecturer in primary schools. As a geology student, I like travelling in the countryside, go cycling and hiking.

I want to improve my experience in communicating with others and ability in dealing with tasks. I’m looking forward to the new journey at lMBeR!

I am a first-year postgraduate student specializing in International Affairs at East China Normal University. My fascination with global affairs began during my undergraduate studies and has only grown stronger. I have immersed myself in research concerning international macroeconomics, fintech, and the nuances of international green trade, undertaking research internships in the International Monetary Institute at Renmin University of China (IMI), Fudan Development Institute, and the Institute of Energy Economics and Environment at Tsinghua University (3E). The research journey has led me to author three comprehensive articles on these subjects and engage in academic events curated by the IMF Representative Office, specifically for Chinese students. Throughout this academic exploration, I have also uncovered a deep-seated enthusiasm for international organizations. I am now eagerly anticipating the next chapter of my new voyage at IMBeR, where I am excited to forge new connections and meet like-minded individuals.

I’m a first-year undergraduate student majoring in Russian in East China Normal University. Throughout my academic journey so far, I exhibited a keen interest in both social science and literature studies, coupled with a burgeoning curiosity for science studies. During my high school years, I had the privilege of working independently on a social science project titled “The Satisfaction of Spiritual Needs and Physical Health of the Elderly: A Study Based on Community Adaptation Construction.” This enriching experience has gained me substantial experience in communication and taking profound insights into the nuances of Chinese society.Last year, I had the opportunity to attend the YMCA Conference. As a Chinese volunteer, I played a role in English translation, helping Korean and Japanese youth better understand Chinese community, showcasing my linguistic ability and intercultural communication skills. I am a senior undergraduate student majoring in Marxist theory in East China Normal University. I love travel, arts and nature. I am willing to learn new knowledge and actively explore. Specifically, I once participated in two innovation training projects for undergraduates. I paid attention to the youths, conducted research through participatory observation and in-depth interview, and finally got excellent results. I am glad to accept various challenges. In my sophomore year, I was a member of the Student Union, in which I assisted in organizing academic lectures and developed my capability of cooperation. I also participated in many volunteer service activities, such as IJCAI Young Elite Symposium, which has improved my communication and organization ability. My major, Marxist theory, has provided me with theoretical thinking and macro vision for carrying out specific practice. In the era of information explosion, I expect to enhance my interdisciplinary learning and cross-cultural communication ability. I hope to gain more unforgettable experiences in an international and multicultural environment.
