The IMBeR Executive Committee Meeting and Ad Hoc Workshop with Invited Guests took place from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The event included a two-and-a-half-day workshop followed by a half-day closed meeting. Outcomes from the meeting will be discussed further with the IMBeR Scientific Steering Committee (SSC), and the meeting report will be submitted to IMBeR’s sponsors, SCOR and Future Earth.
Upon receiving confirmation from SCOR and Future Earth on October 7, Nina Bednaršek, Rowan Trebilco, and Derek Armitage have been officially appointed as Vice-Chairs and are currently serving on the IMBeR Executive Committee.
